The installation of Havalite is a very simple procedure that takes only few seconds.<\/p>\n

After uploading havalite to your server, go to login <\/strong>(normally http:\/\/www.yourUrlAdresse.com\/havalite\/ <\/span><\/span>). If the password is not set yet, the Install Wizard will start automatically:<\/p>\n

Type Password<\/strong>, repeat Password<\/strong>, your Blog URL <\/strong>(http:\/\/www.yourUrlAdresse.com), your Email <\/strong>and at last choose which Server <\/strong>(Windows or Linux) you are running your Blog on. Save <\/strong>information.<\/p>\n

Havalite will create a Login to your administration<\/strong> and a Login to the safe Folder<\/strong> where your Database exists. You can later change the login password to the safe Folder from your dashboard<\/strong> if you want to.<\/p>\n

Hint:<\/span> if you got the following message by installing Havalite appears: (ERROR: <\/b> Sorry, could NOT change mode for the folder: “data<\/b>“. You need to make it writable by setting the mode to 0777<\/b>. Than try again here! )<\/em><\/span>, do as follow:<\/p>\n

  1. Make connection to your server<\/li>\n
  2. open the folder “havalite”<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. change the mode of the folder “data”<\/strong> to 777 <\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. open this folder and change the mode of the file “havalite.db3”<\/strong> to 777<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. run install.php<\/strong> again<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
